New Electricity Rates 2015 Texas

New Electricity Rates, Lowest Prepaid Energy Ever!

Gas prices have been consistently low for a few weeks now; why shouldn’t energy prices be lower? Well, at #ElectricityExpress, we have them. Can you believe our new $0.09 kWh rate on prepaid energy? Yes, yes, YEAH!

Image of a electric billAs we have blogged before, electricity rates are at the mercy of, among other things, natural gas and oil price fluctuations. Payless Power and Electricity Express are doing their best to bring the greatest rate for prepaid energy in years. We love our customers and are always looking for different ways to help them. As we study how customers use energy, we also forecast natural gas prices and weather predictions in order to bring the best rates for our customers.

$100 FREE ENERGY Plan

This is not all – we are also keeping our $100 FREE ENERGY plan. When we rolled out the new low rate, we thought that was enough. Not a chance! Customers were still looking for the FREE ENERGY plans; it looks like some customers have started following our recommendations and blogs on how to improve energy usage. Either way, you save, but let me tell you that the best way to keep cash in your pocket will be with the lower rate; you will be saving more than a bundle.

Electricity Express Tip of the Day

See what kind of terms (longevity) you want with your energy company. This will depend on many things:

·        Do you rent or own your home? If you rent, how long do you have left on your lease?

·        How is the state of your credit?

·        How is your budget/cash-flow? If your credit is not perfect, and you do not wish to go with prepaid electricity, a minimum deposit will be required which can be from $150 to $500.

·        How good are you at paying your bills? Nobody is perfect; we all have missed a due date.

·        How concerned are you about the environment? Remember that prepaid energy offers paperless billing.

These are the things you need to think about when choosing your energy company.

Is Prepaid Energy the Right Choice for You?

Let’s do a quick quiz with the same questions to see if prepaid is for you; please be honest.

1.       Do you lease? Yes – No

2.       Your lease expires in less than 12 months? Yes – No

3.       Are you new in Texas and you’d like to test before a long term commitment? Yes – No

4.       Do you have less than 650 on your credit score? Yes – No

5.       Do you want to keep your money instead of giving it as a deposit? Yes – No

6.       Have you ever lost a bill and missed the due date? Yes – No

7.       Would you like to help the earth and go “paperless billing”? Yes – No

If you answered YES to at least one question, you should consider prepaid energy as an option for you.

Prepaid Energy is the Best Choice

You may think that prepaid electricity is not the best option; well, let me tell you that it is for a lot of people out there. They know that in order to see the savings they need to go prepaid. Others can’t afford a deposit. A lot of folks think like me, otherwise Electricity Express wouldn’t be here. I use prepaid energy and am very comfortable with it. Think again, $0.09 kWh is as good as many postpaid electric companies out there.  Then you add in all of our features including no credit checks, no deposits, no long terms or contracts, FREE ENERGY, paperless billing, multiple/smaller payments throughout the month, etc. Most likely prepaid energy is your best option.

Lastly I want to mention that we are working hard to bring postpaid and commercial energy. Stay tuned as we bring the best of the utility industry. The latest on energy savings with lower bills for 2015.
